Max Resoures: Gold Hill Project, Alaska

Max Resoures: Gold Hill Project, Alaska

Gold Exploration
GoldThe Gold Hill Project comprises 8,520 acres located approximately 212 miles north northeast of Anchorage and is accessible to within five air miles of the property by the all-weather unpaved Denali Highway (State Highway 8). The property is then easily accessed using hunting roads and trails.

Gold Hill encompasses an intrusion related gold system which has many of the characteristics of a Tintina Gold Belt* system.  All of the creeks on the property contain placer gold and have been worked in the past.  Interpretation of the geophysics indicates that there are a number of buried intrusives present on the property which have not yet been explored.

MAX completed an initial drill and surface exploration program at Gold Hill in July, 2004 to follow-up on previous high grade gold mineralization encountered during drilling conducted in the 80’s that included:

DDH 85-5 (GCO Minerals) - 1 m of 15.6 g/t au at 89.6 meters and 1 m of 54.3 g/t au at 90.8 meters.
AUH-16 (Amax) – 83.3 m of 1.53 g/t au, which included 6.1 m of 5.46 g/t au and 3 m of 13.31 g/t au

Four additional zones and structures were identified by MAX in 2004, including a major structure with approximately one meter of mineralization grading 14.4 g/t gold and 0.18% copper, and a sheeted zone where values of 7.9 g/t gold and 1.1% copper were found in the fractures (see below).  These areas are now being considered for further exploration in 2009.

A National Instrument 43-101 Geological Report was completed on the Gold Hill project in July 2004 and is available on our web site at www/maxresource.com.

MAX can earn up top a 90% interest in the Gold Hill Claims from GCO Minerals Company by completing US$2.25 Million in exploration work by December 31, 2011.  MAX has now spent in excess of US$2.1 Million on exploration at Gold Hill, predominantly on the molybdenum/copper target area, with no further exploration expenditures now required until 2011.

* The Tintina gold province is an arcuate, 1,200-km-long metallogenic province extending from northern British Columbia into southwestern Alaska. The Tintina Gold Belt includes such large gold deposits as Pogo, Fort Knox, True North, Donlin Creek, and Shotgun and remains a prime area for gold exploration.
